Yes.... you read that right people....we went CAMPING! The first time we have ever went camping as a family and it was to Yosimite National Park in CA. It was about a 3 and half hour drive from where Tracy is working in CA. We had been told to make the time to go there because it was beautiful! And they were right! I was not expecting to be in awe the entire time! We had called a week before and decided to camp in one of their tents they have already set up...3 sides of it were concrete and then canvas front, it had a full bed and set of bunks in it and dresser. We did have to walk to the shower house to bathe. It was probably one of the best times we have ever had as a family! So we packed our stuff and headed that way on Friday afternoon and got there right before getting dark. We got everything settled in and got some dinner and got to bed.
We got up early Saturday morning and after getting cleaned up we went and rented bikes for the day. The girls loved riding in the attached kid trailors! Even though in these pictures it doesn't appear that their are that many people around.....the park was a full house! I mean thosands! We had the most wonderful day riding bikes through such a beautiful place....it was actually hard to ride sometimes because I wanted to look around everywhere. Im pretty sure we put in 20-25 miles of bike riding that day...so you only imagine how tired we were Sat. night...I defiantly underestimated the bike riding...ha! We checked out Sunday monring very tired and SORE....but had a wonderful time! If you ever get the opportunity to go there...GO!

You can only imagine how big everyhting was around us by the size of Tracy in these pics...it was hard to keep your eyes on the road to drive from looking up everywhere!

The Falls at Yosimite...so cool!

Mary Kate in her biking gear...getting sleepy!

Campbell loved riding behind her daddy because he went faster!

We took a little break during the day to go swimming in the river that flows all the way through Yosimite....it was FREEZING...but I guess that's what you expect from water that comes out of a mountain!
