Annual Christmas dinner at Patti's

Friday night my mom, dad, brother, his girlfriend Heather and her nana and us headed to Patti's for our annual Christmas dinner there. We love going there this time of the year to enjoy a nice family dinner....and the girls LOVE all the lights and decorations they have everywhere! It is such a neat atmosphere there! We all had a wonderful evening with each other!

Mary Kate decided instead of waiting for someone to get her some bread she would just take apot for herself......it was the funniest thing....she was eating it like she would an ice cream cone!

Holy Cross Preschool Christmas Program

Last Thursday Campbell had her preschool Christmas program at Holy Cross.....They have been practicing so hard for several weeks and we were all so excited to see it! I think the children were a bit nervous that morning though....especially when they walked in and saw all of their parents, grandparents and other family. It was absolutley ADORABLE! They all did so good singing their songs! Ms. Angie and Ms. Connie are WONDERFUL with the children and I am so glad Campbell has gotten to attend preschool there this year. I have seen so many wonderful things come out of Campbell over the 4 months she has been there.

Good Times with Good Friends!

After getting back from Memphis from running my half marathon for St. Jude...our friends Alisha, Justin and Aubry came by for a visit and dinner while they were home for the weekend. It was a great visit....and relaxing fun with all of our girls!

Campbell and Mary Kate are pretty curious about Miss Aubry and want to hold and play with her all the time....it's so sweet!

St.Jude Marathon weekend!

Even through these last few busy months I have managed to train for the St. Jude Half Marathon in Memphis Dec. 5. Tracy and I headed to Memphis the Friday night before and got myself all checked in at the Expo.....then we headed to my cousins school to see her in her first musical. She did GREAT!!! We then after the play we headed to Macaroni Grill for dinner....YUM!!! It was so fun getting to spend some time with several cousins I never get to see!

I ran this year as a St. Jude Hero, and through the help of family and friends I was able to raise $500 for St.Jude Research Hospital. It was a GREAT feeling being able to do that!! I had no idea before the race how GREAT the race itself would be and how meaningful it would be!

Tracy's cousin Cary from Mississippi also was there running her first half marathon!





It was an INCREDIBLE experience running those 13.1 miles that very cold morning for St.Jude. Part of ther run was through the St. Jude complex and we were able to pat hands with some of the children that were patients there. And then there were some sitting out there that werent able to move much....but had signs that read THANK YOU HEROES.....It was a pretty teary partof the race for me. And to see the parents and family members throughout the race also made me realize how truly blessed I am to have healthy children!
