5K for Maplewood

Saturday I ran a 5K for my friends Corey and Melodys church(Maplewood Baptist) to raise money for their Honduras Mission trip. It was a very hot morning and there was a ginormous hill at the end that was NOT fun....but all in all a good race. I had fun and got first in my age division even though my time wasn't as good as normal, but oh well!

Water Fun

Campbell and Mary Kate enjoyed some water playtime with the Vance's yesterday.
This is right when Allison turned the thing on...I love Harrison's face!!


Still unsure and just barely feeling the water here....but eventually they were pretty wet from running through it so much.

Mothers Morning Out Promotion Day

Even though Campbell will still be going to Mother's Morning Out this summer, today was Promotion Day for the ones who will not be coming back in the fall and are going to Joyland, Holy Cross, and other pre-schools. It's so hard to believe that Campbell actually started Mothers Morning Out before she turned 2, and now she is 4 and will be going to Holy Cross pre-school next year!

Girls night Out!

Last night Kim, Allison and I left the kids with the guys and took off to Shoguns in Murray for a yummy dinner and some much needed girl time!

It was a fun night.....and the guys handled the kids just fine!

Memorial Weekend at the Lake

After cleaning the boat Thursday morning.....and getting everything all packed and ready to go...we finally made it to the lake around 6:30 that night! It looked like we were staying for a month with everything we took, not including all the food and drinks too! We were set for a weekend on the lake!!!! Yay for summer!!!!


Here is Granddaddy reading books to the girls Thursday night on houseboat....Nana stayed at home since she still had to go one more day to school...but would be coming up Friday.


We got up Friday...and Grandaddy fixed everyone breakfast! We then got ready a day on the lake!

We really didn't know for sure if she would jump or not...being her first time of the summer....

but.....sure enough she did without hesitation!

She was a little shocked coming up....the water was a little chilly, but not freezing.

Saturday.....after going and eating breakfast at Grammy and Papa's...with Aunt Martha and Uncle Larry who were in from Arkansas....we headed back to the lake. It wasn't as sunny as Friday....but at least not raining! Sarah and Jameson decided to come down the lake too! It was Jameson's first time on the boat, so it was defiantly a big experience for him!

Jameson wanted to help Uncle Tracy drive the boat....and never wanted to stop!
